foss.in-wants-youAnd here we go – FOSS.IN/2009’s Call for Participation. Apologies for the delays, things are very different for us this year, with a new venue, new team members, and all sorts of aches and pains we don’t want to talk about :)

The registration system for speakers is open NOW – head there as soon as you finish reading this page.

This is a Call for Participation inviting proposals for FOSS talks, FOSS WorkOuts, Workshops, BoFs, Projects of the Day and Tech Talks at FOSS.IN/2009.

Introduction

Just as always, FOSS.IN is a contributor event, focusing on development efforts in FOSS from India. But this year, we are taking even further, by expanding the event to encompass not just the concept of Free and Open Source Software, but the very mindset that drives it – the hacker mindset.

Rather than repeating everything that has already been written, please read “FOSS.IN: Wind of Change” and the earlier FOSS.IN/2009 Event Announcement, which explain everything you need to know about the event and the new format.

How to submit a proposal

The registration for FOSS.IN/2009 talks, workouts, workshops, BoFs and tech-talks is open now at http://foss.in/register/speaker-registration-2009. If you have questions, hop onto the mailing list, or use the contact system.

Sponsorship

If you wish to become a sponsor of FOSS.IN/2009, drop us a note NOW. Sponsorship is what makes this event possible. We have a document for you – contact us and we’ll send it across.
