QtWebKit

Abstract Modern desktop applications don't use the World Wide Web anymore just by offering hyperlinks and starting an external web browser. State of the art is to integrate web pages seamlessly and transparently interact with web services. The QtWebKit project makes it easy to enable your portable Qt application with web features by offering an intuitive and Qt'ish API to the popular WebKit/KHTML rendering engine. Source code and live demos will be presented to show how to develop with QtWebKit as well as how to join the WebKit development community.
Pre-requisites
Speaker Profile Simon Hausmann is a Qt developer in Trolltech's Oslo office. He likes to improve Qt's text widgets and maintains small parts of the build system. He is very passionate about Open Source and contributes to projects like KDE, WebKit or Git.
