Distribution Constructor: A hands on workshop

Abstract Distro Constructor is a part of the Opensolaris binary distribution. It's a set of tools that allows user to roll their own distributions based on Opensolaris.

This workshop will:
* Explain how the DC project is constructed and implemented.
* Compare how projects like Knoppix and Fedora Revisor gets things done.
* Showcase the working of the DC toolkit, by going through the process of creating a distribution.
* Talk about opportunities of participation, and how you can help the project.

It's recommended (but not necessary) that you bring your laptop along if you want to get a feel of the DC toolkit.
Pre-requisites * Knowledge of network-based packaging systems like apt-get * Comfortable with the Unix/Linux commands. If you're bringing in a laptop, the details of the required environment will be posted a week prior to the event at www.belenix.org and the BOSUG mailing list
Speaker Profile Anil Gulecha is a technology enthusiast, who is currently doing his final year in Comp Sc. engineering. He loves tinkering with computers and gadgets. He works on the BeleniX project (belenix.org) in his free time and has worked on belenix on USB for some time. He also likes to read books.
