National Science Symposium Centre

The National Science Symposium Centre at the Indian Institute of Science has been the home of the event since 2001, and the event now returns to it.
Located near the the IISc, it is a premium convention centre, with all the facilities required by demanding conferences such as FOSS.IN, including five spacious, airconditioned halls, modern public address systems, an expo area and facilities such as speaker lounges, dining area, etc.
The main hall - the J.N.Tata Auditorium - is a marvel of acoustic design, seating up to 750 people in the audience. Four more halls have seating capacities ranging from 60 to 250 seats.
