This is the final list of selected talks for foss.in/2006, subject to the selected speakers submitting their slides before November 14th.
This list does not include Birds of Feathers(BoF's) which will be announced in due course of time. The schedule for the event will be announced by November 17th.

Travel Assistance
All selected speakers who had requested for travel assistance will be intimated shortly by mail. If you dont recieve a mail by the 5th of Nov, then please contact the organizers immediately.
Travel costs will be reimbursed during the event, so we request all the speakers to book their tickets at the earliest. Since travel funds are limited reimbursement amount will be decided on a per case basis.
Keynotes
6 of the selected talks will be designated the status of a keynote. The announcements of the keynote talks will be done shortly.
Speaker Invitation
All selected foreign speakers will be mailed an invite which is necessary for the visa application. If any of the speakers do not recieve an invitation by the 4th, then they are requested to contact the organizing committee.
Deadlines
The talks selected are based on the assumption that all the speakers will submit their slides before the 15th of November, failure in doing so will result in that talk being dropped.
Addendum
It was truly an herculean task to wade through the tons of amazing talks and tutorials, and we must admit that we have left out a lot of good talks for unavailability of slots. The organizers express gratitude to all the people who submitted talks and hope they will be involved with the event in some way.
