Abstract OpenLaszlo provides an XML based language to generate rich Flash client interfaces. This is a great way for programmers to start building highly interactive and rich user interfaces. You can use PHP with OpenLaszlo to deliver these apps on the web.

This talk will explain the basics of Laszlo, and will start on with an example application. We will develop a small application that will pull out data from the backend and showcase it in a RIA frontend.

Pre-requisites Web development experience, overview of XML and PHP development.
