Abstract This workshop will teach how to create live CD based on existing live CDs such as KNOPPIX and Morphix. It will teach what goes into making a live CD and how easy it is to make one.

Pre-requisites Should have been using linux for atleast 6 months.

Profile Arjun Asthana is a 14 yr old boy. He has created many shell scripts (some are for easing everyday tasks, can be found at linux-delhi download section, while one can be used for creating customised boot floppies, can be found at sf.net/projects/mkmybootfloppy) and has recently created a live CD for demoing an application (KalCulate Financial Accounting Package).

Sarath Lakshman, a 11th class student from kerala. He developed a varient of knoppix (A user friendly Linux distro named SLYNUX) while he was studying in 10th class. He has made avaliable this distro in his site www.slynux.org for download. Many people from different counties have downloaded this distro and they have appreciated for his work.

He never stepped into a computer institute for learning. He has been working with the computer for the past 3 years and 1 year Linux experience. He is a Linux enthusiast and much interested in FLOSS. He is much interested to make a presentation Remastering knoppix and his experiences with Linux. He is also interested in helping people to explore the world of the powerful GNU/Linux and FLOSS.
