Promoting the Event
FOSS.IN/2005 is a community-oriented event. For it to be successful, it needs
to reach the people who would benefit the most from it, and help in increasing
the tribe of contributors and users of Free & Open Source Software.
You can help make this happen, by getting the word out in a variety of ways:
BLOGs
If you have a blog (also known as an online diary or journal), then post an
entry about the event, with a link to http://foss.in/2005. Let people
know that you will be participating in the event (as a speaker, delegate,
volunteer, etc.), and encourage them to do so as well.
Websites
If you have your own website, put up a little banner there, linked to this
site. Here are a few buttons and banners you could use, along with the code
you can cut and paste into your pages:

and let people know how you will be participating, and encourage them to do
so as well. Here is a sample (please use your own words, though):

I am participating as a speaker, speaking about "Rolling back the clock -
back to sharing".
