Travel: Getting to Bangalore

For visitors arriving by air, the airport is about 10 km from the Bangalore palace. Both the International and domestic airports share the same terminus.

Visitors arriving by train can choose to disembark at Bangalore Cantt., Yeshwantpur or Bangalore City Terminus. The palace is about 1 km from Bangalore Cantt., and 6 km from both Yeshwantpur and City Terminus.

Visitors arriving by KSRTC buses should disembark at the Kempegowda bus terminus, while travellers by private bus serivce should disembark at Anandrao circle. Both these are near the Bangalore City Terminus.

Travelling in Bangalore

The most convenient form of travelling in Bangalore would be the auto-rickshaw. Prepaid rickshaws are available from the City Terminus and Cantt. station.
